Graduates from this program will showcase their practical knowledge and skills in IoT networks, embedded devices and IoT systems, biologically inspired robotics, biometrics, cryptography, open data innovation, mobile application, and machine learning from their coursework, lectures, tutorials, laboratory works, seminars, and dissertation.

The entry requirements for the Master of Science in the Internet of Things (MSc IoT) at the University of Southampton are an online application, a 2:1 degree in computer science and electronics or other related subjects, an upper 2:1 score in 1 math module, and 1 programming module either C, C++, Java or Python, a certificate from recognized massive open online courses (MOOCs), and English language proficiency IELTS minimum overall score of 6.5 with 6.0 score in each component.
