One of the online degree courses offered is the Online Master of Computer Science which expands the knowledge and skills of the students in computer science, computation, blockchain, artificial intelligence, big data, cybersecurity, and software engineering.

The program is opened through an innovative collaboration between Arizona State University’s School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence and Coursera to widen the understanding and experience of the students. Learners will acquire advanced knowledge on how to improve software reliability, how the computer and information sciences will be integrated with public health, mathematics, urban planning, biology, anthropology, and geography, as well as the appropriate ways to invent next-generation computer systems, the design, and analysis of computers. Throughout the program duration, learners are expected to complete a foundation course, system course, application course, and seven elective courses such as foundations of algorithms, knowledge representation and reasoning, applied cryptography, advanced computer network security, mobile computing, distributed and multiprocessor operating systems, software project, information assurance and security, software security, validation and testing, along with artificial intelligence, data mining, data processing, statistical machine learning, and data visualization. Graduate students will have the knowledge, skills and experience needed by companies in an engineering or scientific discipline. They may acquire job positions such as software developer, computer systems analyst, computer programmer, computer scientist, database administrator, SEO specialist, and information technology manager.

The admission requirements for the Online Master of Computer Science at the Arizona State University (ASU) are an online application, a non-refundable application fee of $70, a high school diploma, a 3.00 GPA in competency courses (4.00=A), an ACT score of 22 or SAT reasoning score of 1120, official transcripts, programming knowledge in C, C++, Java, Python, and HTML, English language proficiency IELTS academic overall score of 7.0 or TOEFL iBT overall score of 90, a statement of purpose, and a resume.

The standard full-time online program takes 2 years with 30 total credit hours. Students are required to pay a tuition fee of $15,000 for the whole program duration or $1,500 per 3 credit hours. Qualified online students will be entitled to financial aid and scholarship services from the university.
