Upon completion of this program, graduates will apply blockchain technology and decentralized architectures to design innovative systems that complement the existing cryptocurrencies, compare different regulatory environments, explore theoretical principles on currencies and banking, define concepts of money supply, associate international markets to digital currency alternatives, identify risks and problems of cryptocurrencies, and analyze best practices related to digital currencies, and may enjoy the broad opportunities in the industry as Managers in FinTech, RegTech or other related posts in finance, Senior Technical Developers, Administrators, and Entrepreneurs.

The admission requirements for the Master’s in Blockchain and Digital Currency at the University of Nicosia (UNIC) are a bachelor’s degree and transcripts from an accredited university, work experience, English language proficiency TOEFL score of 550 paper-based or 213 computer-based, or IELTS with a score of 6.0, curriculum vitae, one-page long personal statement, completed application form, and non-refundable application fee of €55.

The program has a full-time duration equivalent to 1.5 years with 90 ECTS. Students are required to pay the total cost of the master’s program amounting to €12,960. The university offers scholarships and financial aid through merit scholarships, need-based scholarships, and work-study programs.
