It offers Master of Blockchain Enabled Business, with a curriculum tailored to equip students with knowledge and capabilities to manage blockchain in both public and private enterprises and prepare them to lead at the frontier of the new digital economy. Throughout this program, learners will learn about blockchain management, cryptofinance and fintech, building and using smart contracts, blockchain for trade, and the legal, ethical, accounting, and regulatory aspects of new technologies. They will also take the project-based capstone subject to apply all the lessons and solve an industry problem. Graduates from this program will showcase their general analytical, problem-solving, communication skills, and specific knowledge for future needs and expectations of the industry. Finishers are expected to demonstrate a broad understanding of practices in blockchain management and distributed ledger technologies, critically analyze blockchain strategies and solution models to resolve problems, justify solutions based on reasoned judgments and references, identify action strategies for improvement, communicate business data and concepts to both professionals and non-professionals in diverse contexts, apply the collaborative approach in a variety of contexts, apply research principles and methods to design innovative options and solutions, and integrate professional theory with practice in authentic Work Integrated Learning (WIL) contexts, and professional contexts and industry settings.

The entry requirements for Master of Blockchain Enabled Business at the RMIT University in Melbourne include an Australian bachelor’s degree or equivalent or higher level qualification in a business discipline from a recognized tertiary institution. An Australian bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized tertiary institution and a minimum of three years full-time work experience in a relevant industry setting or the RMIT Graduate Certificate in Blockchain Enabled Business will also be considered. All applicants need to submit a curriculum vitae which might include, if applicable, evidence of research, project or operational work, policy and strategy planning work, product design and development, or directing and controlling organizational resources. Aside from that, applicants must meet the University’s minimum English Language requirements.

The program offers a full-time duration equivalent to 1.5 years and a part-time duration which is a total of 3 years. The 2022 indicative fee for both full-time and part-time is AU$32,640. Applicants should be aware that the payment is on a full-fee basis only. However, Australian citizens or holders of Australian permanent humanitarian visa may apply to defer payment of some of the tuition fees via the Commonwealth Government’s FEE-HELP loan scheme. Additional expenses such as student services and amenities fee amounting to AU$315, and other items related to the program including textbooks and equipment should also be paid. For all applicants who have academic achievements and want to avail a scholarship, the university awards more than 2,000 scholarships every year to recognize academic achievement and assist students from a variety of backgrounds.
