IEBS, the Business School for Innovation and Entrepreneurs is a digital business school in Spain with main offices in Barcelona and Madrid. IEBS offers Master in Blockchain and Fintech through an online methodology with an innovative learning model through projects, teamwork, discussions, debates, mentoring, and live and recorded classes to respond to new demands and continuous changes. This program focuses on discovering the future of FinTech and the application of blockchain in business, financial methods, new payments, applications, and banking. Learners are expected to develop skills in blockchain technology, FinTech, digital payments and currencies, tokenomics, initial coin offerings (ICOs), security token offerings (STOs), cryptocurrencies, cybersecurity, and new business models in the financial sector.
Throughout the program duration, students will advance their knowledge of the process of digital models and the revolution in digital environments, develop business models adapted to technological changes in the FinTech industry, know the fundamentals of monetary systems, financial markets, cryptocurrencies, and smart contract, and understand the incentive systems. Likewise, students taking this program will know how to analyze the legal and regulatory implications of cryptocurrencies and other systems and identify the operation of blockchain as distributed systems and the fundamental algorithms. Graduates from this program will demonstrate broad knowledge in FinTech and Banking industry and will enjoy a wide array of career opportunities as Strategic and Technological Consultants, Blockchain Consultants, Project Managers, ICO Managers, Entrepreneurs, and other similar positions in the FinTech and Blockchain industry.
The admission process for the Master in Blockchain and Fintech at the IEBS, the Business School for Innovation and Entrepreneurs is as follows: applicants are required to fill out and submit the online admission application including a personal and academic data, curriculum vitae, presentation letter to the director of the program, and other necessary documents to evaluate compliance with the admission requirements; conduct a personal interview through phone or video conference, and take an aptitude test. Once qualified, applicants will receive a written communication confirming the applicant’s place and providing the information about the registration and fees.
The program offers a full-time duration which is equivalent to 750 hours in 10 months with 60 ECTS. Qualified students are required to pay a tuition fee amounting to €6,250. The school is granting different scholarships and aid programs namely Becas Smart (Smart Scholarship), Becas Impulsa (Impulse Scholarships), Becas Emprende (Undertake Scholarships), and Bonus Training Programs to eligible students.
