Throughout the course duration, students will know the basics of the evolving technology needed to store, manage, and process data, and familiarize the network of servers. Similarly, the student will learn how to apply the elements of computer sciences blended with business intelligence, analytics, security, and economics, and explore large-scale networking hardware and software systems with a focus on abstract servers for cloud delivery and blockchain transactions. Graduates completing this program will showcase practical skills, especially in designing a computer-based system to meet business needs, applying computing requirements, mathematical foundations, and algorithmic principles in the modeling of computer-based systems, utilizing techniques and tools necessary for computing practice and describing legal, ethical, security, and social issues related to computing.

The admission requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Concentration in Blockchain and Cloud Computing at the South College are a proof of high school graduation from an acceptable school, obtaining the specified score on the college-administered examination, a minimum SAT combined score of 830, a minimum ACT assessment composite score of 17, evidence of completion of an associate degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.00, a 2.5 cumulative high school GPA, an online application, and a non-refundable application fee of $50.

The full-time online course is equivalent to 42 months. Students are required to pay $310 per credit. A range of financial aid options is available to qualified students including South College Promise, Tennessee Promise, and Yellow Ribbon Program funding.
